Product Description
The Glamatic SMOOTH 400 PLUS is a versatile Electrosurgical Generator designed to provide controlled cutting and coagulation for a wide range of surgical procedures. The system combines multiple monopolar and bipolar operating modes in a single generator, offering surgeons flexibility across different surgical applications.
The SMOOTH 400 PLUS provides high-frequency cutting and coagulation with smooth, rapid cutting and controlled tissue effects. Its integrated safety features, compact design and separate monopolar/bipolar foot-switch operation make it suitable for modern operating theatres.
The system is designed for applications including general surgery, urology, gynaecology, neurology, thoracic surgery and other surgical procedures where electrosurgical cutting and coagulation are required.

Product Features
1. CUT MODE
PURE CUT
A high-frequency alternating current provides smooth, rapid cutting with little to no hemostasis.
BLEND 1
Preset blended cut mode that provides a degree of hemostasis during cutting.
BLEND 2
Designed for vaporization of prostatic tissue or fatty tissue. The higher output wattage provides faster cutting effect.
ENDOCUT
Designed for automatically controlled cut systems to support controlled cutting during endoscopic procedures such as ERCP and esophageal variceal treatment, according to the brochure.
2. COAG MODE
SPRAY
High-voltage coagulation intended for direct coagulation at the tissue. It can create an extensive arc at its highest setting.
FORCE
Provides a greater degree of haemostasis and is intended for applications where tissue coagulation is required. The waveform helps provide controlled coagulation with reduced tissue destruction by evaporation.
FULGURATE
Designed for tissue coagulation using a spark between the electrode and tissue, creating a broader coagulation effect.
DESICCATE
Provides direct contact coagulation and is intended for desiccation where tissue is referred to as desiccated following the coagulation process.
3. BIPOLAR MODE
SPRAY
High-voltage force coagulation mode intended for applications where a specific coagulation effect is required.
MACRO
Designed for highly precise control over coagulation processes and prevention of carbonization.
CUT
Bipolar CUT technology designed to reduce excessive current during precision cutting in minute tissue structures.
AUTO
Coagulation starts by pressing the footswitch and stops automatically when the tissue is coagulated.
